Equipment
- blender
Materials
- 2 tablespoon rolled oats
- 1 cups milk chilled low-fat
- 1 cup apple cubes, chilled (unpeeled)
- 4 dates
- 1 frozen banana optional
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Wash and cut an apple into chunks and add to the blender with approx the 3rd of the milk.
- Blend the apple into a puree.
- Add banana, oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, and the rest of the milk.
- Blend again until blend till smooth and frothy.
- Pour into individual a glass and serve immediately.
Notes
- You can adjust its thickness and sweetness according to your taste.
- Always serve it chilled.
- You can also add some ice cubes if required.
How to make Apple and Oats smoothie step by step with photo
Method:
Wash and cut an apple into chunks and add to the blender.
Add 3rd of the milk.
Blend the apple into a puree.
Add chopped banana chunk.
Now Add oats into the blender.
Add Chia Seeds.
Add sweetener of your choice.
Pour milk into the blender.
Blend until smooth.
Add cinnamon powder and blend again until blend till smooth and frothy.
Tips:
- Alternatively, of regular milk, you can also use soy milk, coconut milk or almond milk etc.
- we can also replace dates with any of your favourite sweetener like honey, Splenda, sugar, stevia etc.
- You can adjust oatmeal amount as per your desire.
- you can also add frozen banana.
- A frozen banana will make this smoothie thick. If you don’t have frozen bananas, room temperature banana will do fine.
