Smoothies are usually the easiest way to start our day in a healthier way and of encouraging your kids to try different types of fruit.  Kiwi banana smoothie is simple, healthy, and rich in vitamin C, fibre, and potassium.

  • 2 kiwi peeled and sliced
  • 2 banana ripe bananas peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup yoghurt
  • 2 tablespoons Porridge oats
  • mint for garnish
  • Honey or sugar to taste

How to make Banana Kiwi Smoothie?

Method:

Place banana, kiwi, oats, yoghurt, mint and milk in a blender.
Add honey and blend until smooth.
 Pour into the serving glasses, garnish and Serve immediately.

Materials

  • 2 ripe bananas peeled and sliced
  • 2 kiwifruit peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup yoghurt
  • 1 cup milk
  • few mint leaves
  • 2 tablespoon oats
  • 2 teaspoon honey or to taste

Instructions

  • Combine all the ingredients banana, kiwi, yoghurt, milk, oats, mint and honey in a blender.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Smoothie is ready to serve.
  • Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Suggestion Notes:

  • you can add more yoghurt as needed, if the smoothie is too thick you can add more milk.
  • You can also add spinach for a more healthy smoothie.
  • If you are vegan, you can replace dairy with almond and coconut milk.
  • I made this smoothie using honey. You can replace it with sugar syrup.
