Tips, Variations and Suggestions

  • Dry roast the ingredients one at a time on medium-low heat, stirring frequently

  • Grate the jaggery or break it into small pieces using a pestle
  • I like to use a Mortar and pestle for this recipe, but you can also use a blender.

Nutrition

  • Add a tablespoon of flaxseed meal to the mixture. It adds flavour and nutrition to this delicious snack.

For a vegan variation

You can turn these Ladoos vegan by replacing ghee with coconut oil. The rest of the ingredients remain the same.

Coconut Twist- The sweet aroma of coconut blends melodiously with the earthy notes of sesame and peanuts. So you can also add desiccated coconut.

Flaxseed Boost:
Add ground flaxseeds for a healthy dose of omega-3 fatty acids.

Pumpkin Seeds Crunch:
Toss in roasted and crushed pumpkin seeds for added texture.

Chocolate Infusion –

Additional flavouring — These Til Ke Ladoos are flavoured with cardamom powder. However, you can also spice it with a pinch of nutmeg powder, saffron, etc., if you like.

Substituting jaggery — I have used jaggery powder for the til ke ladoo recipe. However, you can also use refined sugar for this recipe.
