Ragi has to be roasted nicely on low flame for at least 8-10 minutes to eliminate its raw smell. Do not keep the flame high, and then the ragi flour gets burnt.
Add dry fruit mixture to the roasted Ragi flour.
Mix well and Roast for 8-10 minutes over a low flame or till ghee starts to float over Ragi flour.
Turn off the gas heat and allow the mixture to cool down slightly.
Add Sugar powder and cardamom powder.
Mix well.
Shape the mixture into small round laddus.
You can roll the laddus over the desiccated coconut powder, or you can mix coconut powder into the ladoo mixture.
