1/2literFull Fat Milk
1cup- MakhaneLotus seeds, Chopped
2tbsp- Cashew Nutschopped
2tbsp- Raisins
2tbsp- Almond - chopped
1tbsp- Chironjicharoli
1/4cupSugar
2tbsp- dry datesdeseeded and chopped
1/2tspCardamom powder
pinchof saffron
2tbsppistaslivers
2tbspdry grated coconut
Instructions
In a heavy bottom over medium heat boil the milk and saffron.
Milk starts to boil add all the dry fruits and cardamom powder to the milk stir and mix well.
Cook the kheer on low flame until the kheer thickens to your desired consistency while stirring at regular intervals.
Add sugar to the kheer and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes. The kheer is ready now. Turn off the burner.
You can test it by letting the kheer fall from the stirring spoon. Dry fruits and milk should fall together.
Dry fruits ki kheer is ready to serve garnished with pista and served hot or chilled as per taste.
