Homemade mango popsicles are a refreshing and healthy summer treat made with natural ingredients. Ingredients

  • 1 cup ripe mangoes cubed
  • 1/2 cup of water or coconut water for a tropical flavor
  • 1-2 tbsp of honey any sweetener or (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp of lime juice optional, for a hint of tartness
  • Pinch of salt optional

Instructions

Prepare the Mangoes:

  • Peel the mangoes and cut the flesh away from the pit.
  • Place the mango pieces into a blender.

Blend the Ingredients:

  • Add water or coconut water to the blender with the mangoes.
  • Add honey or any sweetener.
  • If using, add lime juice.
  • Pinch of Salt

Blend until smooth.

  • Pour the mango mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top for expansion as they freeze.
  • Insert the popsicle sticks.

Freeze:

  • Place the molds in the freezer for at least 4-6 hours or until fully frozen.

Enjoy:

  • Once frozen, remove the popsicles from the molds. If they are difficult to remove, run the outside of the molds under warm water for a few seconds.

Notes

Tips:

  • You can add small chunks of mango or other fruits to the moulds before pouring in the puree for a more textured popsicle.
  • For a creamier version, replace part of the water with coconut milk or yoghurt.
  • For an extra flavour twist, You can add ginger or min.
  • For wooden popsicle sticks, Freeze the popsicles for about 30 minutes or partially freeze them. Then insert the stick in the middle of the ice pops.
