Ingredients

  • 1 cup Gram flour besan
  • 1/4 cup Refined Flour Maida
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Chilli Flakes
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • handful of Coriander finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Oil/Butter

Instructions

Prepare the Batter:

  • In a bowl, combine chickpea flour, refined flour, salt to taste, baking powder, red chili flakes and mix them well.
  • Gradually add water while whisking to form a smooth, pourable batter.
  • Mix in chopped onions and coriander leaves.
  • Cook the Omelette:
  • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp of oil or butter.
  • Pour a ladle of batter into the pan and spread evenly.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until golden brown. Flip carefully and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Serve:
  • Slide the omelette onto a plate and serve hot with ketchup, chutney, or toast.
