Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups milk chilled
  • 1 medium apple peeled and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar or to taste, optional
  • Crushed ice optional
  • pinch of cinnamon powder optional

Instructions

  • Put the apple and sugar in the blender with about 1 cup of milk.
  • Blend until creamy and smooth.
  • Add the remaining milk and blend just until well mixed and foamy.
  • Add ice to the blender if you like you like your shake well-chilled.
  • Pour into glass and garnish with cinnamon powder.
  • serve immediately.

Notes

  • Choose the Right Apples: For the best flavor, use sweet and crisp apples like Fuji, Gala, or Honeycrisp. You can also mix apple varieties for a balanced taste.
  • Chill the Ingredients: For a refreshing milkshake, use chilled milk and refrigerate the apples beforehand. This way, you won't need to add too much ice, which can dilute the flavor.
  • Sweetener Options: Adjust the sweetness based on your preference. Honey, maple syrup, or even dates can be used as natural sweeteners, or you can skip added sweeteners if the apples are naturally sweet.
  • Enhance the Flavor: Add a pinch of cinnamon or a dash of vanilla extract for a warm, cozy flavor that pairs well with apples.
  • Creamier Texture: For a thicker milkshake, you can add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or some yogurt. Alternatively, use frozen apple chunks for a milkshake-like texture without ice cream.
  • Adjust Consistency: If you prefer a thicker shake, reduce the milk or add more apples. For a lighter drink, increase the amount of milk.
  • Garnish: Top with finely chopped apples, a sprinkle of cinnamon, or crushed nuts for a decorative touch.
  • Vegan Option: Substitute regular milk with almond milk, oat milk, or coconut milk for a dairy-free version.
