Ingredients
8slices bread
ΒΌcupCup Onions chopped
1/4cupCapsicum chopped
1/4cupCarrot grated
1/4cupHung curd
1/4teaspoonorigano
1/4teaspoonBlack Pepper Powder
2tablespoonButter
Salt to taste
Instructions
Take hung curd in a deep bowl and Mash it until smooth and creamy.
Add salt to taste, Chilli Flakes,Pepper Powder, Mix Herbsand Mix Well.
Add onion, carrot and Capsicum into the curd and Mix everything well until well combined.
Our curd Stuffing is ready.
Method: 1
Take one slice of bread and apply curd mixture generously on top. Cover it with another slice over it.
Cut the sandwich into the desired shape like a triangle, half, square, circle etc.
Hung curd sandwich is readyto serve.
Heat Tava or a grilling pan and apply some butter.
Method: 2
Spread some butter or ghee over a prepared sandwich and toast one side of the bread by pressing gently on a low flame.
Then, Flip the sandwich and roast it until light brown on low to medium heat.
Cut it into half and serve with tomato ketchup or any other dip of your choice.
Serve immediately, as this sandwich will get soggy with time.
Notes
Thick Consistency: Always ensure that the hung curd is thick and well-drained. This will prevent the sandwich from becoming soggy.Herbs and Spices: Add chopped fresh herbs like mint, parsley, or dill to the hung curd for a burst of flavour.Tomatoes: If using tomatoes, remove the seeds to prevent excess moisture.Toast: Must keep the flame of the stove to medium heat while grilling the sandwich on tawa.Chilli: you can skip or add more red or green chilli, as per your taste.
