Blender – To blend all ingredients smoothly.
Measuring Cups – For accurate ingredient measurement.
Knife & Peeler – To prepare the cucumber.

1.5 cups Yogurt – Plain unsweetened, chilled 1 cup Fresh Cucumber Peeled and chopped 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder – Earthy taste Roasted chilled water As required 1/2 tsp Salt – Enhances flavor or As required 1/2 tsp Black Pepper – Adds slight spice optional 1 Green Chili chopped, optional 1/2 inch Ginger Chopped, optional 2 tbsp Coriander Leaves chopped, optional 2 tbsp Mint Leaves(optional) chopped, optional 1/2 cup Water or Milk – Adjust consistency few Ice Cubes – For a chilled drink
Prepare the Ingredients: Wash, Peel and chop the cucumber
Blend Everything: In a blender, combine cucumber, mint leaves, green chilli, ginger, coriander, cumin powder black salt and salt for a minute.
Add yoghurt and water and blend again for a minute.
Blend Until Smooth: Blend until smooth and creamy.
Serve Chilled: Pour into a glass, add ice cubes, and enjoy immediately.
Lassi and Chaas taste best when served chilled. So always use chilled Dahi/Curd and chilled water.
You can add Chat Masala in place of roasted and powdered cumin powder.
Use fresh mint leaves only. The dried leaves will not give the desired flavour to this drink.
You can adjust or skip fresh coriander, mint leaves and ginger as per your taste.
Adjust consistency according to preference but dough is traditionally thin in consistency.
