Coffee banana smoothie

This smoothie absolutely delicious and creamy, but it also includes plenty of nourishing ingredients like: coffee, peanut butter, banana, cacao and protein powder.

Equipment

  • high speed blender

Ingredients

  • 1 banana fresh or frozen
  • 1/4 cup black coffee chilled espresso or instant coffee
  • 2 tablespoon sweetener maple syru or any
  • 2 tablespoon Chia seeds socked or raw as per choice
  • 3/4 cup milk you can use plant-based milk, almond milk is best

optional but recommended:

  • 1 teaspoon peanut butter or almond butter
  • 2 teaspoon cocoa powder

Instructions

Prepration:

  • Soak the chia seeds in a ½ cup of water for 15-20 minutes.
  • Make coffee as you usually would, then chill it in the fridge for a few hours until cold. You can also make a cold brew and use it here!

Method:

  • Place all ingredients in a blender and blend it all up until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the soaked chia seeds into the glass.
  • Pour the smoothie into a glass and serve chilled.
