Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon ghee
  • 1/2 cup Bulgur/ broken wheat
  • 500 ml of milk
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar or as required
  • 2 teaspoon almond chopped
  • 2 teaspoon cashew-nuts chopped
  • 2 teaspoon raisins
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 pinch Safron optional

Instructions

  • Heat ghee in a heavy and deep pan and add Dalia over medium flame. Sauté till fragrant.
  • Add water and milk to the roasted dalia and stir to mix.
  • Cook for another 5 minutes over medium heat.
  • Add saffron and mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add sugar and chopped dry fruits mix well.
  • It should be creamy.
  • Garnish with fruits and dry fruits and serve.
