Rose Lemonade

 

Rose Lemonade:

Rose lemonade is a great alternative to the lemonade recipes.
This pink lemonade made by adding rose syrup with mint and chia seeds. You can even use rose water but add very little, check my notes for the measures.
This refreshing lemonade is so easy to make and perfect for summer, it is a delicious twist on the classic.

Materials

  • 2 tablespoon rose syrup
  • 2 cups chilled soda or chilled water
  • 1 tablespoon mint leaves
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

Instructions

Preparation:

  • Soak the chia (basil) seeds in 1/2 cup of water for 10 minutes.
  • Lightly crush the mint leaves with 1 tablespoon of water in a mortar pestle.

Method 1

  • Mix ingredients in pitcher and taste.
  • Add ice and serve in decorative glasses. 

Method 2

  • In the glass, place ice cubes or crushed ice.
  • Pour one tablespoon of soaked chia seeds and crush mint leaves in a glass.
  • Pour one tablespoon of tablespoon rose syrup and 1 tablespoon lemon juice over it and stir using a stirrer.
  • Top the glass with chilled with soda water or chilled water and stir to mix all ingredients.
  • Garnish with lemon slices and serve immediately.

Repeat the same steps to make more drinks.

    Notes

    • For a sweeter drink, add more rose syrup.
    • For a tarter drink, add more lemon.
    • If you are using rose  water  then add just 1/4 tsp essence and add sugar as per taste,
