Ingredients
  • 4 cups lotus seeds fox nuts/makhana/Phool makhana
  • 2-3 teaspoon olive oil or ghee
  • 1/2 teaspoon Rock salt or salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry red chilli flakes or as required
  • 1 teaspoon dried herb or chaat masala
Instructions
  1. Heat the ghee or olive oil in a deep non-stick pan.
  2. Add the makhanas and a little salt and chilli flakes and sauté on a medium flame for 8 -10 minutes until the nuts are crispy.
  3. Remove from the flame, combine the makhanas and chaat masala or mix herbs immediately transfer into a deep bowl and mix well.
  4. Once cooled, store it in an airtight container.
  5. Serve with hot tea or coffee.
