Nutty chia pudding is a great option for a healthy breakfast, dessert, or snack!

What is chia pudding?

Chia pudding is a mix of chia seeds with liquid, usually any kind of milk. Chia seeds are tiny black seeds that expand up to 8-9 times their original size.

This Chia pudding is so easy and healthy breakfast option. It takes 2 minutes to prep and then “cools” itself overnight in the fridge. You can make a few chia seed pudding at a time.

To make this a nutty chia pudding I just used a bunch of fun toppings nuts. Then I got fancy and added rose syrup and also topped it off with chopped dried peach.

I LOVE eating chia seeds and think they are fantastic. Chia, It is a powerful superfood that has been shown to promote weight loss, strengthen bones and reduce inflammation.

Materials

  • 1 cup Almond milk
  • sweater to taste ,optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract or cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup dry fruits as per choice, chopped, opional
  • 1/2 cup nuts as per choice, chopped
  • 4 tablespoon rose syrup
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yoghurt

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl stir together almond milk, sweetener and vanilla. Whisk in the chia seeds.
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight to allow the chia seeds to absorb the liquid.
  • Stir the chia seed pudding to make sure there aren’t any big clumps and then spoon into serving dishes and top with rose syrup, nuts and chopped dry fruits of your choice using a quarter of each topping for every serving.
  • Nutty Chia Seed Pudding is ready to serve.

Notes

 
  • If you’re not planning to eat all four servings at one time. leave the toppings and chia seed pudding in separate air-tight containers in the fridge until ready to serve.
Notes:
  • If you don’t like the seedy texture of chia pudding, try blending it in a high powered blender. Once blended, the mixture will be smooth and creamy like a regular smoothie.
  • you can adjust the thickness according to your choice:
  • just by adding more chia seeds to the mixture and let it sit a bit longer.
  • you can also use thicker milk(full-fat milk) to creates an ultra-thick and creamy chia pudding.
  • If pudding is too thick in the morning, add a little bit of milk and stir.
  • If your chia pudding is lumpy in the morning, stir well with a fork.
  • This recipe uses all-natural ingredients and is not processed food so it tastes best within two days after it is made.
