This milkshake is a perfect blend of fresh mangoes in milk which I enjoy during every mango season.
For this yummy, mango drink we just required fresh ripe mangoes or frozen mango pulp, milk, and sugar (optional). We can also add vanilla or mango ice cream as well.

Mango Milkshake

Mango Milkshake is a thick, creamy, yummy cool and tempting fruit drink prepared by simply blending of ripe mango pieces with milk and sugar.

Materials

  • 1 cup Mango chopped
  • 250 ml milk chilled
  • 2 teaspoon sugar to taste
  • 1 pinch cardamom optional
  • 1 cup Ice cubes or ice cream optional

Instructions

  • Peel and cut mangoes into slices.
  • Put sliced mangoes in a blender and add sugar and beat it finely.
  • Add milk and a cup of ice cubes to the blender.
  • Blend the ingredients until the mixture is smooth.
  • Pour into glasses garnish with saffron and serve chilled.

Recipe Notes:

  • Always use chilled mango pieces to make a mango shake. I usually keep my mangoes in the refrigerator.
  • You can chop it and freeze the chopped mango for 15-20 minutes. you can adjust thickness according to requirement.
  • Always try to use a non-fibrous variety of mangoes for a milkshake.
  • Always use good quality mangoes to get the best flavour of mangoes.
  • If you don’t have time to chill the mangoes, you can add ice cubes while blending the shake.
  • You can also use canned mango pulp instead of fresh mango.
  • Milkshake is filling and a great way to include both milk and fruits in your diet. Have it as breakfast, evening snack or post-workout meal.
  • You can add mango ice cream or vanilla essence according to your state.
  • To enhance the flavour and taste pinch of cardamom powder or saffron can be used.
How can we increase its nutritional value?

You can also increase its nutritional value by adding flax seeds, chopped nuts or dried fruits in it.
