Curry N Dal: Curry, this term is normally defined to dishes prepared in a gravy. Curries may be both ‘dry’ or ‘wet’.
Dry curries: They are prepared with very little water which is allowed to dry, leaving the other ingredients covered with the spice mix.
Wet curries: They include significant amounts of gravy based on yoghurt, cream and tomato purée etc.
The word dal is a very common in the Indian, used for pulses, especially for several soups prepared from these pulses.
