This Chia lemonade recipe mainly uses 3 ingredients simple syrup, Lemon juice and also contains chia seeds. Chia seeds are very healthy, they contain omega-3 fatty acids, calcium, magnesium and antioxidants for these reasons, chia seed drinks have been becoming very popular. As everyone knows that lemons are beneficial for us, They are rich in vitamin C, but they are also high in vitamin B6, vitamin A, vitamin E, folate, niacin, thiamin, riboflavin, pantothenic acid, copper, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, zinc and phosphorus.

Ingredients
  • 2 teaspoon chia seeds (black or white)
  • 4 tablespoon simple sugar syrup (You can substitute agave nectar, honey, or maple syrup)
  • 2 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves crushed
  • 2 cup water or soda water chilled
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
Instructions
preparation:
  1. Lightly crush the mint leaves with 1 tablespoon of water in a mortar pestle.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the chia seeds with 1 cup cold water. Let stand 15 minutes. Drain and rinse the seeds.

Method 1:
  1. Mix ingredients in pitcher and taste.

  2. Add ice and serve in decorative glasses. 

Method 2
  1. In the glass, place ice cubes or crushed ice.   
  2. Pour one tablespoon of soaked chia seeds and crush mint leaves in a glass.
  3. Pour two tablespoon of tablespoon sugar syrup and 1 tablespoon lemon juice over it and stir using a stirrer.
  4. Top the glass with chilled with soda water or chilled water and stir to mix all ingredients.  

  5. Garnish with lemon slices and serve immediately.
  6.  Repeat the same steps to make more drinks.

  • For a sweeter drink, add more simple syrup.
  • For a tarter drink, add more lemon juice.
