  4. Sweetener(optional): Sugar, Jaggery Honey, Maple Syrup or any of them can be used as per taste.

Materials

  • 1 cup Ripe mango chopped
  • 1 banana chopped
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • sweetener optional
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice optional
  • ice cubes optional

Instructions

Preparation:

  • Peel and cut the mango flesh into pieces from either side of the flat stone.
  • Peel and chop the banana.

Method:

  • Put all the ingredients into a food processor or blender.
  • Blend until smooth and slushy texture.
  • Pour the mango banana smoothie into the glass and serve chilled.

Notes

    • If your blender is not powerful, add crushed ice instead of whole ice cubes.
    • To make a thick smoothie, use frozen fruits instead of fresh ones.
    • Smoothie has enough sweetness from fruits, however, if you want a more sweet taste, add 1 teaspoon of honey.
